The Jackrabbit Factor

So some of you know that I work for a Prosperity Coach. Not only focusing on prosperity of finances, but all areas of life.

Well EJ and I have just started to go through the process of The Prosperity Coach-yes that's the name of the business as well. We have had two appointments so far and the first appointment Cynthia gave us the homework of reading the book The Jackrabbit Factor by Leslie Householder. I have just barely finished the book and what a positive impact it has made on both mine and EJ's lives.

On the front of the book there is a subtitle that says.."Why You Can". Which can only tell you what this book is about. To make a long blog short..haha..it's about achieving your goals in life. By having the right kind of mindset to accomplish your dreams!

One of the biggest messages the book conveys is Gratitude. How gratitude plays a huge part in your success in life which I believe 100%. One part of the book really struck me that I will work on doing in my everyday life.

It says "You've got to have gratitude for your present condition, no matter what they are, because it is the lessons of the present that prepare you for the blessings of the future. Have grateful thoughts for your current situation. Also, you've got to have thoughts of how you'll feel when you reach your goal."

It goes on to say.."Thoughts of trust are vital, too; trust that a higher power is guiding you to find and catch your rabbit (dream/goal). And, most importantly, you must have thoughts of belief that there is a way no matter what kind of obstacles may appear. These thoughts are all invisible but powerful little packages that go out and do for you many things that you can't do for yourself."

"Be genuinely grateful for the way things are, and then be truly grateful for how things will be. You see, to be grateful for something before it has been accomplished, is faith. And faith can move mountains"

How powerful are just those few paragraphs? I don't know about you, but it has really opened my eyes to the potential I really have in this life and how I can reach it.

We all have had obstacles. We all have had jobs we have hated, been in a money bind, etc, but have we been truly grateful for even those experiences or have we been negative and played a victim? I'll admit it. I have! If you say you haven't you are only fooling yourself.

So why not change that attitude? Why not be grateful for what we have now and what we plan to have in the future? Instead of worrying about what we don't have, why not be grateful for what we do have in life? Let's quit being a victim and reach our FULL potential. The only thing that is stopping us from reaching our goals and dreams are negative thoughts. Let's change it!

This book has changed my life for the better. I have goals and dreams that WILL come to me as I am grateful and have the attitude that I will do what it takes to get that in my life.

I'm so grateful for life's experiences both good and bad because those experiences have made me the person I am today and look forward to those blessings and growth from those experiences for many years to come.

Read this book, it will change your life.

All About EJ

What is his name? Eric John (EJ)

How long have you been married? On our 2nd month of marriage! Lovin every minute of it!

How long did you date? Month and a half before engagment..total...about 5 1/2 months. (No comments on how short of a time we dated please, it's very sensitive to me) Perfect amount of time for Ege and me. Done.

Who said I love you first? Ege totally did! haha..like two weeks after we started dating. We were watching a movie and out of the blue he whispers in my ear "Heather" and of course I say, "yeah?" and he said "I love you". It was the most amazing feeling in the world for him to say that. I didn't say it back yet..I wanted to be sure I knew what the heck I was doing. I said it a few weeks later.

Who sings better? Um..honestly I do. Just bein honest. Now if you ask who is more musically talented?..that would most definitely be EJ. He loves playing guitar and bass guitar. He is loves to write songs. I have to brag he has written some about me... :)

Who is taller? Depends if I'm wearing heals and how thick of shoes he has on at the time...haha..bare foot..Ege is taller by probably 3-4 inches.

Whose temper is worse? Have to say mine. Ege is way easy going and not much sets him off. Me on the other hand...haha. Poor guy right?

Who does the laundry? We both do. Ege is good about that.

Who does the dishes? We both do..he's been trained well..haha. and no he isn't falling out of that habit if I have ANYTHING to do with it. haha.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do...we both wanted that side of the bed. Ege sleeps in the middle of the bed..so we probably share the right side of the bed.

Who does the cooking? Ege will cook, or atleast help. I do for the most part but he is more than willing to help.

Who is more stubborn? I am fo sho!

Who proposed? Duh? If I proposed that would be weird..sorry if any girls out there reading this proposed to their husbands...it just wouldn't work that way for me and Ege..not sayin it doesn't work for other couples. ;) It was very out of the blue..and I wasn't expecting at the time...but he proposed with just me and him..no one else around..which is what I wanted. It was very special.

Who is more likely to admit when they're wrong? EJ is. I have pride issues and get embarassed when I am wrong and have to say sorry...which I'm rarely ever wrong. :) At least I can keep telling myself that right?? ha.

Who wears the pants in the family? Um.. Ege can..but I wear them most of the time. Once again...poor Ege. haha.

Why do you love your husband? Several reasons. He is very handsome of course! Ege is such a gentle and loving person. I love that he has so much motivation in achieving his goals. That is very important to me. I love how he is always so happy and positive. I love how he is always making me laugh. I love that he won't settle for an average-okay life. He wants the best and so do I. I love that he has such a strong testimony of the gospel. That he lives it, and doesn't just believe it. He is such an amazing example to me helping me to become a better person. I love how happy I am being married to him. He puts a smile on my face every time I see him. I love you so much Ege.

Our New Biznass (Sorry it's long...but PLEASE read)

Alright, I know it's been forever since I've posted something..so here goes! Ege and I have some HUGE financial goals for our family that we want to accomplish NOW! For instance..we want to work only because we love what we do..and we can work as little as possible and it not effect our income coming in. I'm so sick of living from paycheck to paycheck. I want to be able to travel, to shop, to spend as much time with my husband (and kids in the future) as possible. My family is what is most important and I want to give them as much time as possible.

Ege has such HIGH goals it's so cute and very inspiring. He will ask me all the time about our dream house. He's always like so is 10,000 sq ft too small?? haha.. I know what you are thinking. 10,000 sq ft.!!!?? Now I don't know about that big of a house, but we will see I guess. We will have the money, so we will def. get what we want. I'm sure you all are asking yourselves "how are they gonna do that?". Be open about it..and you'll want to do the same thing.
EJ has been with this company called Nikken for over a year now...it's been pretty new to me since we've been married. Nikken is a multi-level marketing company. Now I know what you're thinking again.."it's a freakin scam and you won't make crap". Wrong. Yes it is a multi-level marketing company, but it also has amazing quality projects.
So what is Nikken? It sells wellness products. Selling everything from sleep systems, water purifiers, to shoe insoles, to jewelry, to nutrition products, to pots and pans. Wellness products meaning it's gonna make your life SO MUCH healthier than you think you are right now. All of these products have to do with magnetics. Magnets can help with the circulation in your body. These products are making it for you to be healthy more naturally..instead of taking a thousand medications for all the problems that you have.
They have had so many positive results with people with allergies, to epilepsy, restless leg syndrome, , to arthritis, to acid reflux, to any aches and pains you are having, etc. I'm sure you are thinking..."what a joke". This is really new to me guys, but I'm not one to be suckered with anything like this. We have the water and air system in our home as well as the magnetic insoles. Words really can't fully express the difference that I feel from being home to out in the nasty air.
Okay, I"m sorry I'm almost done going off on this. But they even have had successful cases where people with high blood pressure don't have to take their meds anymore. Some of you know that I have high blood pressure which is not normal for someone at my age to have. The doctors tell me it's "hereditary". Which means I'm stuck, right now anyways, to taking atleast one pill a day for the rest of my life to keep it under control. My mom has it and is up to 4 pills a day. I AM going to be a success case where I use these Nikken products and naturally see my blood pressure go down to normal...and that means no more blood pressure meds for me! My mom has the magnetic insoles, and she had her blood pressure checked at the doctors and it's been the lowest she has seen in a very long time even with taking medication. That def. says something to me.
So where are we going to make millions and billions of dollars?? By introducing Nikken to everyone we know, helping them live a healthy lifestyle as well as giving them an opportunity to make the big bucks as well. We have already seen money come in from this the first month we have been married. People have started in this business and now they get monthly checks for more than people make in a year. I'm really not kidding. So here is our website:
Check it out. This is a great business for people that want to stay at home with kids or even just want to run a home based business. If you have questions...bring it on. If you are going to be sarcastic about it..I really don't want to hear it. :) We have goals..and we're going to reach them. Just want to share it with those I care about because I want you to achieve your goals too.

I Have NO Clue

Okay so I have been trying to figure it out...but i have no freakin idea how to do it. I have seen so many cute blogs..and I have no idea how to make mine cute!! I need help!! Any help..direction..tips..etc would be awesome!

I know..this post isn't much..don't worry another one is on it's way!

Cooking...

Sup. So a few peeps have asked me how the cooking has gone since I've been married. Well, we made an amazing roast for sunday dinner! It was so freakin good! I was very proud..that was def. the first roast I've ever made! haha..I know it's lame..but you gotta start sometime right? I made some amazing taco's the other night as well. I would say cooking has been a success so far! I'll get a hang of it more the more I cook. Ege is such an awesome helper as well. He'll chop veggies..or set the table..or even help with the dishes. He can make some great chicken as well. So in answer to your question on how the cooking is going..it's going awesome. Now if ya'll have some amazing recipes please share them with me! :)

9. Christmas of '03 we were bored one night so you and I had a photo shoot...we made a little film with photos trying to race up my stairs! haha..

10. A few of us witnessed Tanya doing the splits down the slide at Heidi's house...while she is going doin the slide...hearing a crack in the slide...haha..i'm laughing as I type this!

11. A few of you would take me on adventures to Coleman's house..I hated that..It def. made me laugh though. There are songs to this day that still remind me of that.

12. A few of us went on a walk in Bloomington one night...witnessing another friend take her shirt and bra off and watching her freakin huge boobies bounce across the Bloomington bridge.

13. A couple of us shaved Brad Loyd's legs one night...hmmm....haha

20. A few of us crowded in the dressing room in Victoria's Secret as one of our friends tried on lingerie..yes...a thong was involved.

21. "You need to get that fixed!"

22. I was on my mission and two of you were in the St. Louis area..and took my companion out for dinner..there were a few people that were jealous of that. It was exactly what I needed at that time!

23. I was talking and laughing with one of you in Mrs. Morris' class in middle school. She warned us and then took us out in the hall and called our parents. My parents still bring that up and laugh to this day.

24. I got you free passes to the summit all the time..so you could come to the hip hop class taught by Scott and work out with me. That was so fun.

25. Dan and I soaped a few of your cars...haha..you thought Luke did it..I don't know if the truth ever came out that I was a part of it. :) This started a soap..and marshmellow war.

26. I distinctly remember your signature dance move in college...for example..when "Shut Up" by Black Eyed Peas came on...

27. I was always a third wheel with you and your husband...I didn't care though..I had so much fun with you guys!

28. You always had the best sound systems in not only yours...but your whole family's cars. It was like a free massage.

29. A few of us had a freakin awesome photo shoot by BYU campus. That was after an amazing friend weekend! Prank calls were involved.

K that's all I can think of for now...my brain is a little slow.. I'll add more when I think of some.
