16 Weeks

So here is my "16 weeks" photo. I know I'm at 18 weeks now, but I took this a few weeks ago and never got around to posting the pic then...yes I'm lazy. I'll put up another picture at 20 weeks. We find out what we are having this tuesday!!! Any guesses on a boy or girl??

For all you smart a#@es..no that is not deodorant...lets just say this shirt is a little stretched in that region! haha.. It's about time. :) I feel bigger than I look in this picture. I guess the view is different for me than others...since I'm looking down and see my belly stickin' out.

Things that are happening so far in the pregnancy:

1. I had "morning sickness" up to 3 months...seriously right when 3 months hit...the nausea was gone!! Freak ya.
2. I get hot flashes...my hands seem to get the hottest on my body. Weird.
3. I have random dreams every night. Sometimes more than one a night. If I see someone, think about someone, look at a picture of someone..I have random dreams about that person that night.
4. I seem to have random songs in my head ALL THE TIME. Some I haven't listened to in so long. I especially go to bed with a song in my head..and wake up with a different song in my head.
5. I haven't had any weird cravings so far. The first three months, I was more prone to feel sick at the thought of certain foods. Right now I feel somewhat more back to normal and I'm not as picky with what to eat.
6. If I'm on my feet for too long...my feet start to ache so bad...as well as my back..yeah I know that's gonna just get worse...needless to say..I'm very excited for the pool to open!

And that's all I can think of for now. Peace.

Happy Mother's Day Mom

Happy Mother's day to a beautiful, amazing and most caring person I know. Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for my mother.  She is always willing to help, doing everything possible she can to serve others. She is truly my best friend. I can tell her everything, even if it is embarrassing or shameful on my part. She doesn't judge, just loves her kids for who they are will do anything for them.

Mom, thank you for all you do. Whether it's calling and check up on me everyday to see how I'm doing to buying me a diet coke when you're visiting and I've had a hard day. :) Thank you for being an amazing mother not only to me but to EJ who hasn't had a mother in his life for 14 years. I can't imagine how it would feel to not have a Mother in my life, especially one like you. What an amazing blessing you are in my life. I love you Mom.

Isn't my mom Gorgeous?!!!

Big Gulps Huh?

Welp...I'm pregnant! Yep, I peed on one of those sticks a few months ago and yes indeed we have a baby on the way! We are so dang excited!

Was it planned you ask? Yes, yes it was. We had been feeling the spirit strongly before we got pregnant, knowing that it was time for us to start a family. Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways, and since we got pregnant, things have been falling into place. How very blessed we are. Our precious baby will be joining us in mid October!

We Made It!

We made it to our 1 year anniversary! I really can't believe that it's already been a year. It has seriously FLOWN by!

We celebrated the day before since our anniversary was actually last sunday. We just relaxed during the day, worked out together, had us some Jimmy Johns for lunch got ready and went on got pedicures. (Yeah that was my idea) EJ was a great sport in going! haha... I think it takes a real man to get a pedicure. :) The night was in Ege's  court where we went to dinner. He surprised me and took me to The Roof in downtown SLC. We had an AMAZING view of the temple. I'd never been to their before and it was so fun to dress up and go out. We don't do that very often! It was a great day and I look forward to and eternity more anniversaries! haha..cheesy I know...but it's true.

There have been several ups and downs in this one year. Not in our relationship, but in other areas of our lives. It's been quite a growing and spiritual experience for both of us. I wanted to share the things that I have learned in this first year of being married:

-Going to the Temple together REGULARLY is important.
-Praying and reading scriptures together daily is a MUST.
-Having FHE even before having kids is an amazing experience and I can really tell when we do have FHE together how much stronger the spirit is in our home.
-Going on dates is important. Even though we don't have a ton of money at the moment, just going to dinner is amazing to me.
-If you don't speak up about what bothers you, the problem will NEVER get fixed and will cause problems later.
-Communicate!
-Let down your pride and apologize...
-I think it's healthy to speak your mind to each other. It lets you both know where you stand. It's good...

That's all I can think of for now. Yes most of them were spiritual things, but you know what people...The foundation of your marriage and what keeps you together is The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Plain and simple. I'm grateful for EJ and all that he does for me. He makes me laugh all the time which I love. He has such drive and motivation to reach his goals. I love you Ege.

Nuttin much goin on hurrrrr (here)

So I've had people mention to me that I NEED to update my blog. I know I know...I guess I have lost motivation for the time being and apologize for the neglect of my blog. I know you all are just dying to hear what is going on in my life...that you are waiting by your computer 24/7 to see if I have update my blog......haha..right...

Umm...What's going on here? Work...stress..and more work. That be about it. But we are happy that's all that matters right? :)

To catch you all up..we had a great Christmas! We spent it with in Tremonton. For those of you who don't know where that is, my brother-in-law made my mom, sis-in-law, and me a t-shirt to wear for you all it says "Where the Hell is Tremonton? It's in Box Elder, County, Utah...Dumbass" haha. I love it!

The parentals and my brother Nate and his family came up to Tremonton as well. We had a partay!! We played tons of games my personal favorite was playing the "Not So Newlywed Game". Talk about being scarred for life. Hearing stuff about my parents was scarring but hilarious at the same time! You had to be there to get the details! haha

New Years was really quiet. Ege and I were both not feeling so good so we ordered cafe rio...then relaxed and later went to the movie "Yes Man". It was hilarious..but a very inappropriate part in the movie that could have been left out. We made it home just in time to see the ball drop.

Welp..I think you are all caught up in our exciting lives!! haha...I'll think of something better to post soon...if you're lucky. :)
